Epic Driving classroom instruction and tutoring offers a foundation for safe, defensive driving practice. Students will receive instruction on basic skills, knowledge, and good habits needed for safe driving. Instruction includes defensive driving practice, driving in adverse weather, and review and application of VT DMV road test skills. Tutoring can be tailored to meet the needs of individual student.

This course is for teenagers who have a current Vermont Learner's Permit and want to obtain a Vermont Driver's License, and meets all state requirements. Attendance is required for all scheduled classes. Students must also be able to attend one or two driving appointments each week during the session.

2026 Spring Session: Wednesdays 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Sundays 10:00a-12:00p. Wednesday classes are remote, Sundays classes are held in person. Mandatory In-person orientation on March 4 from 6:00p-8:00p. Scheduled dates: March 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25, 29, April 1, 8, 12, 15, 26, 29, May 3, 6(make-up day). Driving appointments are separate from the above schedule and will be 1 1/2 hours in length and only once a week for students. You may be required to drive at 6:45am weekday mornings.

2026 Summer Session: Scheduled dates: May 26, 27, 31, June 3, 7, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 29, 30, July 1. Mandatory in-person orientation May 26 from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Sundays 6:00-8:00 p.m. Classes are a combination of remote and in person. Driving appointments are separate from scheduled classes and will be 2 hours in length, once a week. Driving appointments will be after school and on weekends for the first three weeks of class then scheduled throughout the day on weekdays when summer break starts.

South Burlington Driver Education Offering (Vermont Commons School):

Adult 6x6 Driver's Training Classes

This course is for adults over the age of 18 who seek basic or supplemental driver training. All classes will meet virtually using Google Meet, and require an internet connection and camera. Course curriculum covers getting to know the vehicle, basic driving skills, review of the rules & laws of the road, driving in hazardous situations, defensive driving techniques, and VT DMV road test preparation. Tuition: $749.00 (Includes all classroom instruction, driving appointments, and course material. If you require pick up outside of Essex Junction, there will be an additional fee based on mileage.) Individual and Small Group Classes

Create individualized or small group classes that focus on differentiated, adapted, and flexible instruction. Classes will be created in collaboration with administrative staff, families, and locations where qualified space is available.

Costs: Tuition will be dependent on class size and location costs.

Tutoring

Private tutoring available customized to meet the needs of the individual.

Costs: $80.00 per hour for driving appointments starting and ending at pre-approved location. $90.00 per hour for driving appointments requiring a pick up and drop off service. Pick up and drop off service is only offered within a five mile radius of Essex Junction City Center, Williston Town Center, or South Burlington and needs prior approval from Epic Driving. Package rates (four hours or more) will include a 10% discount.
